Jet Sim School Ltd was founded in 2015 by its Director Jonathan Lockton. The high fidelity fixed base Boeing 737-800 simulator was based at Sibson Airfield (EGSP), near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire UK, before moving to a bigger space in Orton Southgate in 2018. The simulator was built to fill a gap in the market place between the 'entertainment' simulators used by the public for experience flights and the very expensive ($20million+) full motion simulators used by the airlines.
The simulator has been built to an extremely high specification with all systems and flight dynamics modeled and operational, the controls also have the correct look, feel and response. IAN, NPS and a multitude of other airline specific options can be turned on and off as required. Non-normal situations and procedures can be fully accomplished as all the buttons, switches and controls work just like the real aircraft. Something almost all other simulator companies struggle to achieve.
Whether you're an enthusiast, perhaps flying a flight simulator on your PC at home, a private pilot looking to experience the differences between a light aircraft and an airliner, or even an airline pilot wanting to practice skills, we have got you covered.
